Study Conference – Feb 17th – 19th, 2012

Feb. 17-19 – Lendrum’s Annual Study Conference.

This year the sessions will be on Friday evening,  Saturday morning & evening, and Sunday morning. Our guest speaker will be Jonathan Janzen, Pastor at Highland Community Church (Abbotsford) and sessional instructor at CMU and Columbia Bible College. His topics will be The God of the Bible, The God of the Philosopher, The God of the Scientist and The God of the Skeptic. Please invite your friends and colleagues.

MCC Picnic

Every one is invited to the fourth annual Mennonite Heritage Picnic to be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Wiens Acreage, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm.  There will be a pig and beef roast starting at 12:00 noon.  Activities in the afternoon include horse wagon rides, petting zoo, berry picking, visiting, and of course Watermelon and Rollkuchen.

An evening to celebrate the service of reconciliation between Mennonites and Lutherans at the Lutheran World Federation Assembly, Stuttgart, Germany, July 2010. In repentance of the past, thanksgiving for the present, and celebration for the future. Join us for music, prayer, and fellowship.

Saturday, January 15,

10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: “A Muslim-Christian Conversation”: A conversation between a Muslim and a Christian about God, faith, and the world we share.


Sunday, January 16,

10:00-11:00 a.m. (Worship Service): “Children of Abraham: Relating as a Christian to Your Muslim Neighbours”: A practical guide for Christians living alongside Muslims in a pluralist society.


Sunday, January 16,

11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. (Adult Sunday School): “Understanding Islam: FAQ and Q&A”: Frequently Asked Questions about Islam and Christianity, with a chance to ask some infrequently asked questions as well.
